Mie Wong               Group Leader

‘Mie’ is pronounced as Mi-eh. I obtained my BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK, followed by a PhD on membrane trafficking at the MRC LMB. I subsequently received my postdoc training first at EMBL Heidelberg, Germany, and then at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. I started my lab at the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, UCL in September 2021.

Lucy Da Silva   Research Assistant

I gained my BSc in Medical Sciences from the University of Exeter in June 2020. As part of my undergraduate degree, I joined a research lab at MacQuarie University (Australia) for a year, where I examined the role of actin cytoskeleton regulators in neurite development and regeneration in zebrafish. I joined the Wong lab in August 2022 as a research assistant.
